The WPT Australia Main Tour festival and the Mike Sexton Champions Cup are returning to Australian shores once again in 2025, though are this time heading to Sydney for the first-time ever! 

Join us at The Star Sydney from 18 September through to 1 October 2025, for another blockbuster WPT festival, with 32 events on the schedule and a massive $10 MILLION estimated festival prize pool!

With a $5,500 Championship Event buy-in, 11 passports to the WPT World Championship festival to be won, plus a Player and Team of the Festival award, this is shaping up to be our biggest WPT event ever held in Australia. 

SUPER SATELLITE WEEKEND

Satellites for the 2025 WPT Australia festival are set to kick-off with a bang with our Super Satellite Weekend, running from 7 to 9 August and featuring MORE THAN $57,000 IN GUARANTEES!

Across the three days we’ll have Step 1 satellites (with entry just $150) feeding into the Direct Qualifier Satellite (which you can also buy into for $600), which has a whopping TEN SEATS GTD.

We’re also holding two satellites into the Ladies Australian Championship, each holding a TWO SEAT guarantee for the leading ladies of poker.

But that’s not all! The lovely Lynn Gilmartin, WPT Anchor, will be in town and playing the Super Satellite Weekend so you’ll be able to see her in room and potentially battle her on the felt for a seat.
