Poker Rules Update
From Monday 4th May 2026 we will be making a few small changes to our Poker Rules of the Game.
Please see below summary:
Cash games:
- New definition of substantial action
- Time to act (action clocks to be introduced soon)
- Update to ‘Out of turn’ rule
- Calling time on a player
Tournaments:
- If player is not present by the end of the initial deal their hand will be folded
- Big blind to be posted before the BB ante. In Omaha BB ante will not be counted as a part of the pot pre-flop
- A Tournament supervisor or player may call time if a reasonable time has passed. The players will then have 25 seconds plus a 5 second countdown to act.
