Michel Bouskila Captures First WOSP Circuit Ring After Winning the Masters Event!

It took Michel Bouskila just on three hours to take down The Masters Event and collect his first piece of WSOP gold jewellery as well as the first place prize of $22,229. The two-day event saw 190 hopefuls pony up $500 on their quest for WSOP glory.

Bouskila is no stranger to tournament play, with an impressive twelve victories before today, and a mountain of cashes earning him 1.8 Million in winnings placing him in 36th place on Australia's all-time money earners list. Bouskila came to the final table as the chip leader and was able to hold on to that lead throughout, before ultimately taking out Sam Ioannou in second place after a relatively short heads-up battle.

The final table included a majority of Australians as well as several New Zealand players including Angela Brewster, who as the sole surviving woman in the field, was able to get to 8th place before being eliminated.
